Where can I contact the organiser with any questions?

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

Yes, your registration can be transferred by contacting ticketing@singularityuaustralia.com. An AUD$50 transfer fee will apply. Please note that if you are transferring a Start-up, Educator or Non-profit registration, the new attendee must fill out the application form relevant to the registration type to show they are eligable for the subsidised rate. If the transferred registration is a Youth one, the new attendee will also be required to show ID at the door and must be 25 or under on the 19th February 2018.

What is the refund policy?

A 50% refund is available up to 30 days prior to the event (20th January 2018). After this time, refunds are not available. However, we will be pleased for you to transfer your registration to another attendee (see above). Please contact ticketing@singularityuaustralia.com to process this for a AUD$50 fee.

Terms & Conditions

1. Scope of service, changes of key note speakers and program, cancellation of the event by the organiser

The attendance fee is per person and plus GST and any fees charged by the ticketing provider. It covers attendance of the SingularityU Australia Summit on 19, 20 and 21 February 2018, and all catering during the breaks and evening receptions.

Missing Link Consultants Ltd trading as SingularityU Australia reserves the right to replace the announced key note speakers by others and to make changes to the conference program as necessary, while maintaining the overall character of the event.

The event may be cancelled for a compelling reason, for example in case of force majeure, or illness or otherwise inability of a key note speaker to attend, or disruptions at the place of the event, or because of an insufficient number of attendees. In such case the attendees shall be informed without delay. A cancellation because of an insufficient number of attendees shall be communicated no later than two weeks in advance of the scheduled date of the event. The attendance fee shall be reimbursed in such cases. No claims for compensation of expenses, travel or overnight accommodation will be accepted, unless the cancellation has been caused by Missing Link Consultants Ltd trading as SingularityU Australia intentionally or by gross negligence.

In the event that the performance of the Summit is impaired, Missing Link Consultants Ltd trading as SingularityU Australia endeavours to take all reasonable measures to help to cure or alleviate the disruption.

2. Payment of the attendance fee, default, set-off

Payment shall be by credit card or by bank transfer upon receipt of invoice. Payment by sending cash or checks cannot be accepted.

3. Copyright

All conference papers provided by Missing Link Consultants Ltd trading as SingularityU Australia are protected by copyright. The Attendees are granted a non-exclusive, not transferable right of use, for personal use only. The conference papers or parts thereof may not be copied, distributed or made publicly available. Any copyright notices or markings or trademarks may not be removed.

4. Liability

The events are diligently prepared and presented by competent speakers. Missing Link Consultants Ltd trading as SingularityU Australia shall not be liable in regard to the content of the conference papers and the information communicated through the lectures and discussions or otherwise presented at the event, whether it is how up-to-date the information is or in regard to the correctness or completeness.

5. Data Protection

The personal data of the Attendee which the Attendee communicates to Missing Link Consultants Ltd trading as SingularityU Australia on occasion of his registration and attendance of the event are processed by Missing Link Consultants Ltd trading as SingularityU Australia for the purpose of processing the registration and organising the event.
